We understand that choosing child care for your little one is a big decision. That’s why at Honeybear we aim to provide the right environment where each child is treated as an individual, feels safe and secure and will learn and develop at their own pace.
Honeybear nursery was first opened in 1989 by Bernadetta Devine, who after several years of working in nurseries herself wanted to provide high quality childcare. Her aim was to set up a safe and secure environment for children to grow and learn, providing a 'home from home'. Since then we have pursued a policy of progressive improvement in the day care facilities we provide.
All our nurseries are regulated and inspected by OFSTED. We receive unannounced inspections to ensure that all our policies, procedures and practices are in accordance with, and as established by, the EYFS statutory requirements. The OFSTED inspection encompasses both quality of care and educational curriculum delivery.
We are members of the NDNA, which means we have access to the latest child care updates, training and conferences.
