Government Funded Financial Assistance with your Child Care Fees

Nursery Grant Education – NEG

The nursery education Grant Scheme enables parents/carers of 3 and 4 year old to take up a free part time nursery education place (up to 5x£ hour sessions per week) for 38 weeks of the year at any pre-school nursery provider registered to receive the grant (Honeybear Nursery is registered). Child Tax Credit

Child Tax Credit is extra money given to support families with children. You don’t have to be working to claim Child Tax Credit but you do have to be responsible for at least one dependent child or young person. The amount you receive depends on your income and the circumstances of your household but all families with an income of up to £41,000.00 per annum (general guide) will be able to claim. If your child is less than 12 months old you will be entitled to a higher rate of Child Tax Credit. Working Tax Credit

The Working Tax Credit is extra money for working families on low and middle incomes. To be eligible to claim, you must be aged 25 or over, you or your partner (if applicable) must work 30 hours a week or more and must be responsible for at least one dependent child or young person. Childcare Vouchers are an extremely flexible way to save money on childcare, making quality childcare more accessible and affordable. You may be able to save the equivalent of a month or more of your child care costs without affecting your salary, pension, benefits or tax credits.
