Children’s Mental Health Week 2024

Children’s Mental Health Week, which was first launched in 2015, is a mental health awareness week that empowers, equips and gives a voice to all children and young people in the UK. We will be marking the week from 5th to 9th February.

This year the theme is My Voice Matters, which is about empowering young people to use their voices, share what matters to them, and encourage those around them to hear their voices.  Evidence shows that empowering children and young people can have a positive impact on their health and wellbeing. For example, children and young people who feel that their voices are heard – and that what they say makes a difference – have higher levels of self-efficacy and self-esteem.

We will be celebrating Children’s Mental Health Week by encouraging the children to talk about what matters to them.
