Introducing our Toddler Room Team Members
Our team members work hard to develop strong relationships not only with our children, but also with our parents. To support this we wanted to provide some background information to our Toddler Room Team members. So here we introduce you to Emma from our Gatley Toddler Room and Lilly from our Whalley Range Toddler Room.
Lilly has been part of the Honeybear Nursery team for almost nine years. She started when she was just 16 years old, and has since completed her Level 2 and Level 3 in Childcare. She is now based at the Whalley Range Nursery, while her son attends the Gatley Nursery. Lilly told us that working with children is so incredibly rewarding – she loves watching the children in her care grow and develop. Lilly commented: “Children should be in a happy, positive environment where they feel comfortable to learn and thrive. You will usually find us in the garden, exploring the outdoors and having fun, learning new skills.”
Emma has been part of the Honeybear family for 17 years and has always been dedicated to the education, care and wellbeing of the children. This drives her to ensure that her education and training is up to date and current. She began working at the Hale Nursery and moved to Gatley over a year ago. Over the years Emma has worked with all ages, but most of her experience has been with the Toddlers. Emma told us that every day is different and seeing the children learn new skills is amazing. She commented: “It is so lovely to see the children’s faces in the morning all excited and ready to learn and play. It is so rewarding when you see or hear them relating their play to something you have taught them.”
